Maybe you need a written appraisal for an estate, or for insurance purposes. You can retain the value of your piano with a Dampp-Chaser system. Dampp-Chaser humidity control systems are installed to keep an instrument stable through the change of seasons thereby minimizing pitch changes.
We clean pianos and can replace old cracked and yellowed keys with new white keytops. The black keys can be lacquered to look like new. Maybe you need compact stage twin dollies for a console or studio piano.

How it goes
From the first phone call to a piano you can enjoy
Tell me about the piano
The make, the age if you know it, and what you would like done. If purchasing a used bench, photos of your piano sent by email will help determine which bench would suit your needs.
Estimate or appraisal
Estimates are provided for work, and formal appraisals for value. An appraisal is a considered judgment of the instrument, not a guess made over the phone or with a "blue book."
The work
Grand Dollies are installed, keytops fitted, actions adjusted, Dampp-Chasers installed, and pianos cleaned on site. Disposal and buying or selling are handled separately, with the moving cost factored into the price.
Questions people ask
See the full service area+Can you value a piano for an estate or a sale?
Yes. Appraisals are one of the additional services, and estimates for work are separate from that.
+What does a Dampp-Chaser do?
It is a humidity control device installed in the piano that holds the moisture level steady. This helps keep the instrument in tune longer and reduces the swelling and sticking that humidity causes.
+Do you have used piano benches?
Yes, used benches are sold. Send a photo of your piano; include its legs. I'll get back to you with a recommendation(s).
+What happens to a piano that cannot be saved?
Piano disposal is offered, so an instrument that is beyond practical repairs can be removed properly instead of being broken up in place, which is a tough job.
